GNBCH Foundation History & Profile
 The Greater New Bedford
Community Health Foundation was created from a perceived need to provide high
quality, affordable, and accessible health care to all of the citizens of
greater New Bedford; regardless of socio economic status. We have been fortunate to have so many
active and generous donors, and the GNBCH Foundation provides an avenue
for continued support and involvement in improving health care services in our
region. Planned giving, pledges, and one-time donations are only a few of the
ways that you can help us to
provide the quality, compassionate health care that so many families need. You
will help to support the array of health care services to needy children, the
elderly, and the many families that we serve.
Benefits to the Community
 We believe that people will make the
difference. Our children must be able to rely upon us to provide them with a
solid foundation for a healthy future. Our senior citizens deserve to be
treated with the dignity and respect that they have earned through a lifetime
of hard work which entitles them to affordable, high quality healthcare. We are
here to help make greater New Bedford a shining example of what a community can
accomplish for its citizens when we all pitch in!
